Description

Cordula Dummy End with Spindle – 70mm Octagonal

For use on older Cordula roller garage doors with the 77mm slats. Comes complete with new race bearing and mounting bracket included.

Fitting instructions:

Note: Really this is a job for a professional because the motor tube and motor has to be disconnected including removal of the electrical cables from the control panel.

  1. Undo the grub screw and remove the C-Clip holding the Dummy End spindle in place.
  2. At the motor side turn off the power. Remove the motor wires from the control panel and ensure the cable is able to be pulled through the end-plate.
  3. Undo the fixings holding the motor in place and lift it free – pull the cable through the hole then with an assistant lower the entire tube to the ground.
  4. Pull the old Dummy End out of the tube, you will probably have to drill out the rivets that secure it (if fitted). Now put the new Dummy End in place and refix with rivets.
  5. If you are changing the mounting plate and bearing then do so before refitting in the reverse sequence.

RECOMMENDED: If you are in the South East of England then we recommend ask us for a quote to do this for you.
